Ik ging er even voor zitten: vandaag weer wat kaartjes versturen voor Postcrossing. Het is altijd spannend om te kijken welk adres je krijgt, wat de ontvangers leuk vinden om te krijgen ( ik kijk altijd voor bijzondere kaartjes om te versturen), iets over de postcrosser te lezen en of ik aan de wens kan voldoen.
Maar *** maakt het te gek, zij krijgen van mij een kaartje wat ze niet willen, maar wat wél van een goed doel afkomstig is : Greenpeace.
Dit soort adresjes hoef ik niet te vaak, hoe verzin je zoveel eisen.. de moed zonk in me in de schoenen tijdens het lezen, en hoe durf je zo te schreeuwen tegen een vreemde die jou gezellig een kaartje wilt sturen…
( internetregel: hoofdletters wordt beschouwd als schreeuwen)

Some of our cards come with environmental message. We make no apology for it.
To save this beautiful world and its inhabitants (including ourselves!) should be a priority.
For example, when you go to feed your cat, how many tiger skins are laying in factories waiting to be processed?
How many people in the world under 5 years of age will die today via malnutrition?
How many millions upon millions seahorses are being taken to provide a herbal medicine that has now been proven not to work? Yes only know do we know why seashorses are important in the ocean food-chain
How many shark-fins are taken from sharks whilst they are still alive (and thrown back in!)and are consumed in a tasteless useless bowl of soup so mens libido can be stronger??
Do we really need whale meat – do we need to hunt them to satisfy rich Japanese plates???
The constant raping of the oceans – the planet has to stop. Before the last animal is seen. What then? You will not be able to feed your cat fish – after sharks are gone – the food chain collapses. Whale tourism brings in 76% more money to the economy than hunting them and local jobs!

1. We are TOTALLY COMMITTED to sending you postcards that you will LOVE or are on your LOVE-LIST.
2. We are TOTALLY COMMITTED to send out ONLY HIGH QUALITY CARDS.
3. WE ALWAYS send out cards no later than 24 hrs after receiving the AU number.
4. We register Cards the SAME DAY as I receive them where possible.
5. We will NEVER send from you ‘please do not send list’!
We hope the same commitment in part or all is in turn shared with our family. For that you have our blessings!!
We prefer cards to be sent in envelopes because it stops damage! All stamps go to Charity.
